National App Day is December 12th! To celebrate, we’re looking at some of the most helpful apps for business. Some can save you time and money, others help your day to day operations run smoothly. Here are 5 apps to consider downloading to help take your business operations to the next level.

  1. Quickbooks App

Quickbooks is one of the most common and robust accounting tools for small businesses. Not only is it easy to use for you and your business, working in tandem with an accountant or bookkeeper will be a breeze. Using the Quickbooks app will efficiently allow you to keep track of invoicing, income, spending, and profits.

Quickbooks also offers a separate app for payroll that can integrate with its accounting functions.

  1. Square

Square is a point of sale app that allows you to process purchases with your customers from the palm of your hand, via your smartphone or tablet. It’s easy to set up and easy to use.  Money received is automatically transferred to your business bank account each night.  There’s a plan with no monthly fees, making it easy and affordable to process credit card payments in your office, at business events or anywhere you happen to be.
